Ben's research focuses on assessing the fate, transport, and mechanistic controls driving inadvertent geogenic metals (arsenic, manganese, iron, etc.) solubilization during managed aquifer recharge and understanding how these processes impact groundwater quality, and are affected by alternating oxic-anoxic (dry-wet) cycling during infiltration and carbon availability.
