Research Focus

My research involves developing novel materials from plasmonic nanostructures that are capable of coupling multiple bioassay platforms, including localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR), mass spectrometry, and surface-enhanced raman spectroscopy (SERS). These materials are then applied towards cross-platform environmental sensing and label-free cytotoxicity studies.
